Castella Beach, Larnaca, Cyprus
The beach takes its name from the Larnaca castle (which is almost 1.5 km to the east). It is a 400 m sandy beach right on the west of a fishing shelter. Usually in summer after midday the wind is blowing from the south, and there are (small) waves in the bay. The beach has been awarded the Blue flag eco-label (www.blueflag.org). There are many fish taverns in the vicinity.
